ProSiebenSat.1 Licensing to represent Pat the Dog

ProSiebenSat.1 Licensing has announced the acquisition of its first global franchise in the form of animated series Pat the Dog. ProSieben has augmented its portfolio with a brand for the target group of children aged six to nine with the license agreement signed with French companies Superorod and Superights.

“Pat the Dog is action coupled with loads of humour and emotions for the whole family," said Robert Merkel, managing director of ProSiebenSat.1 Licensing.

"We are proud to be representing the licensing for this franchise internationally from now on. With Pat the Dog, we have acquired a high-quality CGI animation that occupies a unique brand position between “boysy” superheroes and “girly” princesses."

Clément Calvet, founder of Superprod added: “Our property Pat the Dog couldn’t be in better hands! The professionalism and quality of the Network of the ProSiebenSat.1 Licensing team immediately impressed us.” "We share the same ambition for our worldwide hit property Pat the Dog and together we will take it rocket high.”

The international license marketing of Pat the Dog is based on cooperation with leading, independent licensing companies. All partners have licensing expertise and are the “best in class” in their regions.
