Purple Ronnie teams with Royal Mail

Social expression brand Purple Ronnie is joining forces with Royal Mail for Father’s Day.

A special ‘Dear Dad’ competition is offering 50 people the chance to have a personalised Purple Ronnie poem written about their father and posted in time for Father’s Day.

The competition opens today (Monday June 3rd), with entries accepted until 9.30am on Monday June 10th).

"We wanted to do something really special to celebrate Father’s Day and give people the chance to say thank you to their dad with the wonderful words and humour of Purple Ronnie," said Stephen Agar, MD of consumer and network access at Royal Mail.

"This is a great opportunity for doting sons and daughters to pay homage to their dad and get a unique, personalised poem written and sent in a card, ready for Father’s Day."

Michael Dee, director of content at Purple Ronnie owner Coolabi, added: "We are very excited to be working with the Royal Mail on this great competition, and we know that there will be a lot of happy fathers out there on June 16th."
