Popular children’s property, Q Pootle 5 will focus on space in a new UK brand awareness initiative to promote the CBeebies series.
Activity will kick off at the National Space Centre in Leicester on May 12th with creator Nick Butterworth as Q Pootle 5 takes part in the centre’s Small Space Day.
Visitors will get the chance to meet the costume character as well as hear from Nick Butterworth as he brings the space adventures alive in an interactive show. The initiative will also feature stories, songs, craft activities and trails.
In addition, a special Q Pootle 5 themed morning will be held at the Royal Observatory Greenwich on July 31st. The event will treat visitors to an episode of Q Pootle 5, followed by a presentation from Butterworth and a chance to meet him at a book signing after the show.
Both events will be supported with vibrant social media activity.
Ben Butterworth, Snapper Productions, said: “These events offer a great opportunity for us to connect with families and Q Pootle 5 fans everywhere. Q Pootle 5 is all about imagination and play.
“We love to share this with children and inspire them, and grown ups, to take every opportunity they can to nurture and develop their creativity.”
Q Pootle 5 is based on the best-selling books by children’s author and illustrator, Nick Butterworth. The series is produced by Snapper Productions and animated by Blue Zoo.
The brand has already secured a number of licensees in the UK and Germany.
