Balloons specialist strikes deal for 20 specially designed products.

Qualatex teams with Rachel Ellen Designs

Pioneer Europe has partnered with Rachel Ellen Designs for a new range of Qualatex balloons.

This will include a large number of microfoil balloons, including the hand-painted character pirate, as well as the exclusively created knight, ballerina and princess, that have made the Rachel Ellen range so well loved.

Award winning designer Rachel Church has designed 20 balloons, including a baby boy and girl design, christening range, as well as adult celebrations such as engagement, wedding and a milestone range.

Qualatex will also be launching a brand new range of Rachel Ellen designed partyware in April this year. This is a first for the firm and includes quality paper plates, cups, napkins and table covers, all incorporating the four children’s characters.

Church runs the successful greeting cards business Rachel Ellen Designs, based in Nottingham. It sells gifts and greetings products to UK stores and is exported to over 25 countries.

“This collaboration proved an ideal fit,” commented Rachel Rissbrook, Head of Marketing for Qualatex.

“We fell in love with Rachel’s work at Progressive Greetings Live in 2012 and we have been discussing ideas and ways of working together ever since.

"We are extremely excited about the launch of our new range of party products and hope customers love them as much as we do."

Rachel Ellen Designs recently announced plans to enter the licensing sector.
