Toasted sandwich chain Quiznos has teamed with 20th Century Fox to launch a sandwich inspired by Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials.
The deal marks Quiznos first partnership with a major motion picture studio.
The SatisFIRE features slow-roasted pulled pork, honey ham, smoky bacon and melted cheddar cheese, topped with sauteed onions, fresh jalapenos, pickles, lettuce and tomatoes.
"We are excited to be tying in with Fox and Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials," said Susan Lintonsmith, Quiznos chief marketing officer.
"We played off the ‘Scorch’ undertones of the film to develop a limited-time toasted sandwich that is not only hot from a temperature perspective, but also brings the heat up the spice scale.
"Spicy menu offerings are on trend and the SatisFIRE delivers on its name with fresh sliced jalapenos and Serrano pepper aioli. It’s an amazingly tasty sandwich."

"Quiznos has created a fun and engaging campaign with the film that takes advantage of consumers’ desire for experiences and content."
Quiznos’ Toasty.TV also released its newest parody, titled The Burn Trials, in partnership with Twentieth Century Fox.
"Our core digital goals revolve around getting our fans to truly engage with Quiznos online and as a result, share our brand," added Chris Ruszkowski, Quiznos vice president of advertising and marketing.
"Toasty.TV and the content housed on the site help us achieve that goal, validated by the large increases in visits to our online store locator each time we release new original content like The Burn Trials."
Quiznos is also launching a competition via toasty.tv/scorchtrials/ for a fan to win tickets to a future 20th Century Fox Hollywood premiere, including hotel and airfare, and one year of free Quiznos menu items.
