Ubisoft Motion Pictures’ popular animated series Rabbids Invasion is continuing its plans for world takeover.
Produced by the firm for France Televisions, new deals will see seasons one and two of the series head to China, Netflix for France and Videotron for Canada.
Distributed across China by JY Entertainment, the successful children’s series will be available via the territory’s free and paid video on demand platforms.
The series premiered in 2013 when it launched on Nickeloedeon, and shot to success, becoming the channel’s fourth most series by early 2014.
Last year saw France TV strike numerous global deals for the animated show that now airs on MBC3 in the Middle East, IRIB in Iran, Teletoon in Canada, Channel 9 in Australia, Smile TV in Greece, Super in Italy and Neox in Spain.
The firm expects season two to echo this success when it launches to free-TV viewing platforms this autumn.
