Animation studio Rainbow has expanded its relationship with Planeta Junior into France.
The partnership between the firms already covered Spain, and now properties that Planeta Junior will be representing in France include girl’s brand The Winx Club as well as Mia and Me, a co production with Lucky Punch/M4e.
Mia and Me features live action as well as animation and follows the adventures of 12 year old who is able to travel to the magical world of Centophia, brimming with elves, pans, dragon and unicorns.
"We are delighted to extend our relationship with Planeta Junior and it is a pleasure to have them as our agent in France," said Antonella Ceraso, country manager of the Rainbow Group.
"We are looking forward to a successful future."
Other properties include PopPixie, set in a land where pixies live alongside gnomes, elves and animals, as well as boys’ action-adventure series Huntik which follows a band of seekers looking for secret amulets that could save the world.
The extension of Rainbow’s relationship with Planeta Junior France means that the global network of agents now cover Greece, Spain, Portugal, Eastern Europe Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand,Taiwan, Australia, Latin America, Turkey, Germany, Benelux, Israel, Middle East and South Africa.
