The UK costume character and mascot specialist, Rainbow Productions is looking to grow its presence in the Asian market by tapping into the region’s booming attractions industry. To help kickstart the move, it will be making its debut appearance at IAAPA Expo Asia, taking place in Shanghai from June 12 to 14 this year.
The show has been highlighted by Rainbow Productions as ‘a great platform for the company to showcase its mascot manufacture services to the Asian attractions industry.’
“This is a really thrilling time for Rainbow as we are expanding into new territories. In March we were fortunate to have representation at the China Attraction Expo in Beijing, and we are excited to now head to Shanghai,” said Rainbow’s sales and marketing director, Simon Foulkes.
“We are proud to already be working with Peppa Pig World of Play in Shanghai, Sea Life Busan Aquarium in South Korea and Madam Tussaud’s in Bangkok, to name a few, and are looking forward to building new relationships with new clients too.”
In the run up to IAAPA Expo Asia, Foulkes and Rainbow’s managing director, David Scott will be attending the Licensing Expo in Las Vegas; the world’s largest trade show dedicated to licensing. Running from June 4 to 6, the Rainbow team have meetings lined up with existing clients and are keen to discuss new opportunities with brand owners.
Rainbow Productions is recognised as a global leader in custom-made mascot manufacture and has produced costume characters for a majority of the world’s leading licensing studios, international sporting associations and tournaments, brand mascots, leisure attractions and film producers.
