Ready Jet Go! blasts onto global scene with new international broadcasters

Hit children’s animated series Ready Jet Go is blasting onto the global scene with a swathe of new international broadcast partners now on board.

Distributed by Cake, the Wind Dancer Films animated series is now preparing to launch in new key territories including Australia, Canada, Finland, Norway, Portugal, Thailand and UAE.

The broadcast deals follow the recent announcement that season two of the popular show is set to roll out across the US late next year.

Ready Jet Go will now air on ABC in Australia, BBC Kids and Knowledge Network in Canada, YLE in Finland, NRK in Norway, SIC Television in Portugal, POD Worldwide in Thailand and E-Vision in the United Arab Emirates.

“Ready Jet Go! has quickly taken off with U.S. audiences, and we’re thrilled about the warm reception that CAKE has received for the series from the international broadcast community,” said Dete Meserve, executive producer of the series and principal of Wind Dancer Films.

“Our mission with Ready Jet Go is to encourage young viewers to engage in science in ways that spark their natural curiosity, broaden their horizons and deepen their connection to the universe. These new deals will extend all the rich learning opportunities of the series, along with its music-filled, action-packed fun, to young viewers all around the world.”

Having launched on PBS Kids in February this year, ready Jet Go has already reached 22 million viewers, including 7.6 million kids on linear TV. It has been streamed more than 93 million times since January.
