V&A Licensing is continuing with its plans to expand its most popular designs into ranges of tableware and home textiles - and is already enjoying healthy sales in John Lewis.

The firm now has four ranges of tableware - Brocade, Brompton Rose, Victoria (pictured) and Chinoiserie.

John Lewis has reported a strong response to the gift sets and plans to increase the number of designs and expand the product types for introduction to stores in the autumn.

As well as broad distribution in the UK, some of the ranges are already being exported to customers in the US. In addition, V&A Licensing has developed exclusive ranges of mugs for two UK grocers - Waitrose and Sainsbury's - due to be in-store for late summer.
