The Bologna Licensing Trade Fair has added a dedicated Retail Day new for this year's show.

A statement sent to Licensing.biz read: "One day will be dedicated entirely to the retail sector: the Licensing Retail Day.

"This is a unique event, the first of its kind in Italy, where in addition to a morning of seminars focused on the latest trends in licensed products' distribution, the afternoon will be reserved exclusively for 'speed date' meetings between select retailers and exhibitors."

The 2013 event, which runs from March 25th to 27th at the Bologna Fairground, Hall 31, has 60 registered exhibitors from Italy and abroad.

There will be 500 represented brands and over 1,700 visitors attending, including licensees, agents and retail buyers.
