With a number of existing licensees already experiencing an uplift in sales following England's successful qualification for the 2010 World Cup, CPLG Sport continues to add new partners to the programme.

Among the new signings, Poetic Gem has added to its existing range of baby and toddler wear with 14+ swimwear; Mi-Podspeakers is producing branded iPod docking speakers; Universal Interiors has a range of creative bedroom furniture including a wardrobe (with and without integrated drawers), bedside cabinets, computer desks and toy boxes; Kiss the Badge has car headrest covers; and Premium Factory is manufacturing children's UV protective tops.

"We have an exceptionally strong programme in place for The FA; it continues to grow and we are looking forward to our licensees reaping the benefits of the England team's recent excellent results," said CPLG Sport's Nicola Lord.

Kerry Pullin, head of buying for men's and kid's for George at Asda, added: "News of England's qualifying for the 2010 World Cup has boosted sales of official England football product and, because of this excellent performance, we are looking to expand The FA range across many categories over the coming months, in preparation for World Cup fever next year."
