Bulldog's first clothing deals for Pikmi Pops are "just the start" for the hit toy brand

Thanks to new licensing deals with Aykroyds/TDP and Blues, the brand is entering the nightwear, swimwear and leisurewear markets.

Bulldog Licensing has detailed the first licensing partners for the hit collectable toy brand Pikmi Pops across nightwear, swimwear and leisure wear.

Created by Moose Toys, the team behind the almighty Shopkins, Pikmi Pops is a range of sweet-scented miniature plushies that come with surprises packaged inside a lollipop container.

Pikmi Pops have become a big hit with its target market of girls aged five to nine and has sparked a playground craze with reports of surging sales here in the UK. After just a few weeks in retail, Pikmi Pops became the number one new brand in the UK, a position it has held onto since March this year.

Now, thanks to new licensing deals with Aykroyds/TDP and Blues, the brand is entering the nightwear, swimwear and leisurewear markets.

“Pikmi Pops only debuted a short while ago but is already making major waves in the UK licensing market,” said Bulldog licensing director, Vicky Hill. “These initial deals are just the start. The brand has all the hallmarks of a huge success story and more announcements will follow very soon.”
