RTL Games is rolling out a Harry Potter edition of its popular Destination board game, having inked a deal with Warner Bros Consumer Products.
Destination Hogwarts (£19.99) will launch at Hamleys, Regent Street, London today (Friday October 31st), with product demonstrations taking place throughout the day.
"Harry Potter and the incredible storylines created by JK Rowling are a perfect fit for wonderful gameplay by Harry Potter fans in Destination Hogwarts," said RTL boss, Rachel Lowe.
The new Halloween arrival marks the fourth anniversary of the launch of Destination London, the first game in the series which turned out to be Hamleys' best selling product of Christmas 2004. There are now 21 different regional and licensed versions within the range.
In Destination Hogwarts, players take on the role of a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Players will visit locations from the movies including Hagrid's hut, the Great Hall, the Black Lake and the Forbidden Forest.
The aim of the game is to successfully manoeuvre around the board to reach a specific destination and receive 'house points'.
