Tesco is stocking more than a quarter of a million Grumpy Old Gits cards for Father’s Day.

The supermarket will put up 4,118 FSDUs to stock the greeting cards in 694 stores in the run up to the special day on June 17th.

Grumpy Old Gits global licensing agent JELC says the line will play a ‘major role’ in this year’s Father’s Day celebrations at Tesco.

“Grumpy Old Gits is a popular brand at all times of the year, of course, but especially appropriate for Father’s Day,” said Janet Woodward, director of JELC. “With thousands of Tesco customers certain to keep them busy I’m delighted to say that the Gits will have even more to complain about this year than usual.”

Grumpy Old Gits cards feature pictures of humorous, grimacing old men along with jokes. The brand has over 12,000 UK fans on Facebook and has a weekly reach of 442,000 people in the UK.
