Art and design brand Juicy Lucy has seen some of its key licensees report strong sales of its product.
Portmeirion Potteries is enjoying sales success with its collection of mugs, candle votives and mug and coaster gift sets, while Jarrold Calendars has seen a solid launch for its His n Hers super slim calendar and 2009 diary. Zeon, meanwhile, is gearing up for a late summer launch of ladies accessories including jewellery, watches and gifts.
Other successful launches include Ravette Publishing, which has reported strong sell-through for its first three Juicy Lucy titles: I Love You, Let’s be Rudie Nudies and I Love You Mum, while Hazlewood Cakes has reported a successful three-month trial for its celebration cakes.
Elsewhere, baby clothes, gift sets, girls’ day, night and underwear are now available in Marks & Spencer outlets throughout the summer, while the company has recently signed up Sharpcards (animated mobile messaging) and Is it Art? (wallet cards) to its portfolio.
Overseas, and Wild Pumpkin Australia has become an international sub agent for the territory, while Papillon is launching 2009 calendars, diaries and social stationery for Benelux.
“We are excited about the fact that we’ve been able to sell our licensees’ products to our existing customers who are always hungry for more fab fairy products,” said Juicy Lucy company director Rhodri Evans.
