Little Ewe bags major retail deal

Apparel line among products due to hit Tesco shelves from next month.

Design-led property Little Ewe has scored a major UK retail deal with Tesco, which will significantly boost its profile.

Products - including a comprehensive apparel line - are due to hit shelves from next month.

The Bulldog property, which launched in 2008, is already one of the biggest names on, worth an estimated £500,000 on the site alone. The character also appears on greetings cards from Danilo, plush toys and gifts from Posh Paws and mobile downloads from Sharpcards.

"This new deal is absolutely huge," said Bulldog MD Rob Corney. "It underlines Little Ewe's enormous potential for generating revenue at retail and will send interest in the brand through the rood."
