Popular UK lifestyle magazine Men’s Health is expanding its licensing programme with new deals in the fitness products and health snacks categories.
In a new partnership with Argos, the magazine is preparing to launch a range of personal fitness equipment scheduled to hit retail this July.
The Men’s Health range of equipment will include a home multi-gym, fixed weight dumbbells, suspension trainer, medicine balls, resistance bands, kettle bells and weighted vests.
All developed in close partnership with the Men’s health editorial team, the range will be available through the Argos website, apps and more than 700 stores across the UK.
Alun Williams, publishing director for Men’s Health, said: “These products are the result of very close collaboration between Argos and our editorial fitness experts.
“Together, we have created an exciting range of high quality equipment that enables our readers to better understand how fitness equipment should be used to generate optimum results.”
And for those looking for a post-workout hit of protein, Men’s Health is also launching a range of Men’s Health Fuel Beef Jerky, ‘the ultimate high protein health snack, aiding muscle building and fat burning.’
Made with marinated and smoked British and Irish silverside beef, the product will be on sale in Tesco from the end of this month and will be supported on the pages of Men’s Health magazine and online.
The new jerky range has been developed in partnership with The Jerky Group in a deal brokered by Men’s Health licensing representative, Golden Goose.
Williams added: “We have worked with The Jerky Group to ensure this product fits our brand values and we’re proud to endorse it as an al natural, high protein, healthy snacking option.”
“The Jerky Group is excited with the association with Men’s Health,” said James Newitt, managing director of The Jerky Group.
“The brand is perfect to communicate the many positive attributes of beef jerky as a healthier snack.”
