Ricky Zoom gears up for Nordics debut with new broadcast partners added

Entertainment One’s new animated pre-school property, Ricky Zoom is gearing up for its Nordic debut, having secured new broadcast deals with NRK in Norway, and SVT in Sweden.

The two will debut series one of the show from November this year and spring 2020 respectively.

“We’re excited that these latest deals with NRK and SVT will bring Ricky Zoom to audiences in the Nordics,” said eOne’s Monica Candiani, EVP international content sales, family and brands.

“Ricky Zoom is a show all about vehicles, friendship and adventure with meaningful life lessons woven into the storylines. There’s nothing quite like it in the preschool sector right now and the long list of top-tier broadcast partners signed to date demonstrates that it clearly has global appeal.”

This latest announcement adds to a fast-growing slate of international broadcasters launching Ricky Zoom across multiple territories from this autumn. These include Nickelodeon in the US, Nick Jr. and Channel 5’s Milkshake in the UK, Treehouse in Canada, Super RTL in Germany, Spain’s Clan TV, France’s Gulli, and Italy’s RAI.

On top of this, eOne has also secured broadcast partners in Youku in China, Discovery Kids for Latin America, Karusel in Russia, Minika Cocuk in Turkey, EBS in South Korea, and Spacetoon for the MENA region.
