Rizon Studios Licensing has secured the UK and Ireland rights to popular gaming world property Silver Surfers.
The firm has become the latest addition to the property’s growing network of sub agents across the globe.
Subway Surfers follows graffiti artist Jake as he travels the world avoiding a railway security guard and his dog, as players help Jake collect coins and earn points along the way.
Developed by SYBO Games and distributed by Kiloo, Subway Surfers is one of the top three most played apps in the world, exceeding 250 million downloads since its launch last year.
Brand licensing agency Ink represents Subway Surfers globally.
"We’re delighted to be working with Ink on Subway Surfers," said Natasha Dyson, VP of licensing, Rizon Studios Licensing.
"It has tremendous appeal with eight to 14 year olds and easily translates in to licensing."
Throughout 2013, the brand is embarking on a world tour, allowing players to visit a new destinations via the app each month with featured cities including New York, Tokyo, Sydney and Paris.
