Creative agency buoyed after securing UK and Ireland rights to Miramax properties.

Rizon to open licensing arm earlier than expected

London-based creative agency Rizon Studios is speeding up its plans to launch a new licensing division.

This will operate alongside its creative division and brand management division.

The news comes after Rizon partnered with Evolution Licensing and secured UK and Ireland licensing rights for Miramax Movie Studio and its properties including Pulp Fiction.

Dave Collins and Tamara Dixon from Rizon said: "We decided to move Rizon Studios into the AIM-listed LiteBulb Group to facilitate exactly this type of expansion, which is highly unorthodox in our industry but perfectly logical.

"We are confident that our work with Evolution will enhance everything we do for our existing clients."

A statement read: "Alongside the new licensing division, Rizon Studios will continue to lead the creative field, helping IP owners to monetise brands outside their core markets through imaginative, consumer-faced campaigns."
