RJM Licensing signs artist Juan de Lascurain

RJM Licensing is set to represent Mexico City artist Juan de Lascurain, and is seeking new licenses for his artwork.

Known for his graphics of exotic animals and urban scenery, Lascurain currently has more than 30 licensed products around the world after selling his first notebook back in 2011.

“I was immediately drawn to Juan’s positive message, bright, eye-catching artwork and expansive collection of images – all of which were drawn on an iPhone,” said Rob Mejia, president of RJM Licensing.

“He works quickly and finds inspiration in unexpected and beautiful places. So I think this all adds up to a new artistic voice that will translate well into many consumer products.”

Juan de Lascurain added: “It doesn’t matter where you come from, or how much money you have. If you have faith, a dream and you work hard, you can accomplish anything.”
