Roald Dahl takes toy game to next level with new toy and game partners

The Roald Dahl Story Company is taking its toy game up a notch as it gets set for a big London Toy Fair this week thanks to a flurry of recent signings.

The owners of the iconic Roald Dahl brand and the work of the widely celebrated children’s author, is celebrating its biggest presence at the London Toy Fair to date, having signed recent deals with the likes of Paul Lamond Games, Fiesta Crafts, Rainbow Designs and Winning Moves.

A multitude of toys and games across well-loved Roald Dahl stories such as The BFG, Matilda, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and James and the Giant Peach, will all be showcased at the fair kicking off this week.

Paul Lamond is launching 250 piece puzzles, Rainbow Designs has new plush lines, Fiesta Crafts is presenting a range of hand and finger puppets and Winning Moves will be sharing the Roald Dahl Monopoly set among other products.

For the first time there will be new The Enormous Crocodile toy lines targeting a pre-school audience. Paul Lamond will be showcasing a floor puzzle and memory card game in a gift tin and Rainbow Designs a new cuddly plush.

Stephanie Griggs, licensing and design director for the Roald Dahl Story Company, said: "We are so excited to have so many new products to share at Toy Fair, it has been a pleasure to work with our licensees.

"The end product is a line of toys and games that we think our consumers are really going to love. Story-led and full of colour, we think they are going to get a great reception."
