Rocket Licensing adds new partners for The Very Hungry Caterpillar

Rocket Licensing is bolstering its offering for The Very Hungry Caterpillar with a line-up of new partners.

Dennicci is set to launch unisex and boys’ sleepsuits, baby hoodies, pram suits and baby mittens, while Dreamtex will develop alphabet and number duvet sets.

Plus, Alligator Products will be launching its new, wide range of Very Hungry Caterpillar travel items at retail, which will include travel harnesses, travel pillows, plush car seats, buggy seatbelt strap covers and more.

Elsewhere, Poetic Brands is producing Very Hungry Caterpillar pyjamas and briefs for adults that are set to hit retail in Q4 this year.

Charlie Donaldson, joint MD of Rocket Licensing, said: “After nearly half a century, the Very Hungry Caterpillar brand, like the book, is still being discovered by new generations.

“The Very Hungry Caterpillar remains unique and uniquely recognisable, a fact that makes it enormously appealing to licensees, retail, consumers and theatregoers alike.”

The company is also preparing for the launch of The Very Hungry Caterpillar live show in the UK this year, which will feature 75 puppets.
