Rocket Licensing has detailed the latest additions to its UK licensing programme for the upcoming Smurfs: Lost Village movie.
The firm has been selected to represent Sony Pictures’ new animated feature, scheduled to hit cinemas in March next year, alongside the classic Smurfs brand.
New merchandise will launch to coincide with the release of the new cinematic feature early next year and will feature lines including nightwear, daywear and swim as well as gifts, stationery and pocket money toys.
Aykroyd & TDP will develop a line of kids’ nightwear, while Fashion UK will deliver daywear and swimwear.
Elsewhere, Inphase will debut a collection of car accessories, including air fresheners and PMS International for gifts, stationery and pocket money toys.
Meanwhile, Smurfs is entering the babywear category courtesy of Casa Chiccos, with a launch to Mothercare planned for spring/summer 2017.
The new ranges will all support the property’s master toy partner, Jakks Pacific who is gearing up to launch a range of playsets and figurines for the new movie.
