Rovio Entertainment and Holiday Club Resorts have partnered to reveal their largest joint Angry Birds Activity Park ever.
The pair have chosen to unveil the 5000m2 park in Gran Canaria – marking both its largest and first to host Rovio’s new cafe and birthday services – on October 31st.
The park, inhabiting the south side of the island, is the fourth in Rovio’s growing chain of Angry Birds Activity Parks.
Dan Mitchell, Rovio’s director of location based entertainment, said: "We are really excited to bring another Angry Birds Activity Park to life, this time in Gran Canaria.
"Gran Canaria is such a fun destination and the partnerships, teamwork, and dedication of everyone involved in this project will create another amazing experience for our fans.
"Featuring some all new elements, we really hope everyone, both local residents and tourists, will enjoy coming out and experiencing this together as a family."
Calvin Lucock, managing director of Holiday Club Canarias, added: "We are all very proud of the forthcoming opening of Angry Birds Activity Park Gran Canaria.
"This new endeavour will certainly add value to the Puerto Rico resort area and will bring in more visitors. Apart from being a significant tourist attraction, it will also serve the local people and create new job opportunities."
Boasting two new additions, the park will offer visitors new menus at its cafe and the chance to organise personalised events with a birthday service.
Director of shops and restaurants at Rovio Entertainment, Riikka Ahtiainen, said: "Our cafe and birthday services at Angry Birds Activity Parks will offer delightful and tasty meal options for all family members as well as a variety of event planning possibilities for all occasions."
