Rovio Entertainment has signed an agreement with Everton Football Club to bring premier league stars Wayne Rooney and Dominic Calvert-Lewin to its new animated series.
The series will air exclusively on YouTube during this summer’s World Cup in Russia and will see two teams of kids divided into Team Red and Team Chuck as they competed for the BirLd Cup trophy.
The live-action and animated hybrid series has been developed in association with Everton Football Club and will feature YouTube star Team Red captain Tekkerz Kid and Team Chuck captain Ruby Clark.
Wayne Rooney, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Tom Davies and Cenk Tosun are also on-hand to help the kids learn useful skills while also participating in challenges throughout the series to earn points for their respective teams.
