Classic art to be used on new range of technical equestrian socks.

Roy Lowe & Sons adds Norman Thelwell to portfolio

Roy Lowe and Sons has teamed up with the classic horse riding UK cartoonist Norman Thelwell to develop socks for SockMine – a brand of Roy Lowe and Sons.

The deal will see a brand new line of technical horse riding socks being developed featuring the Thelwell pony illustrations.

Designs are currently being created and samples developed to achieve the perfect horse riding socks that every rider will want to wear. All of the socks will be manufactured in Sutton in Ashfield at the Roy Lowe and Sons factory.

David Thelwell commented: “We are delighted to see my father’s art used on technical Equestrian riding socks, a perfect brand fit.”

Martin Lowe, MD at Roy Lowe and Sons, added: “It is really exciting to be able to create and manufacture UK made socks with the classic UK Thelwell illustrations on.

"It is a combination made for each other, a horse riding sock with the popular and fun horse cartoons designs go really well together.”
