Sanrio and Egmont welcome Little Miss Inventor to the Mr Men Little Miss universe

A new Little Miss character is joining the cast of the popular Mr Men and Little Miss series next spring.

Little Miss Inventor will launch as a book in the classic range from March 2018, timing to coincide with International Woman’s Day and British Science Week.

The result of a collaboration between Sanrio and Egmont Publishing, Little Miss Inventor is intelligent, ingenious and inventive with a brain full of ideas that she turns into inventions in a shed at the bottom of her garden.

As well as inventing things for herself, she also invents things for her friends, such as a chatter-natter hat fot Little Miss Chatterbox and a back-pack-snack-attack fridge for Mr Greedy.

But what could she invent for Mr Rude?

Little Miss Inventor is the 36th Little Miss character to join the classic Mr Men Little Miss library.

Adam Hargreaves said: “I always enjoy creating a brand new character for the series and it was fun coming up with lots of crazy inventions for Little Miss Inventor’s home and silly ones for her friends.

“It’s also been nice to write a story that promotes a positive role model and to challenge a stereotype, if only in a small way.”
