Sanrio’s death-metal red panda moshes onto Netflix

Meet Aggretsuko, Sanrio’s latest adorable mascot who hates her office job and loves screaming along to heavy metal anthems at her local karaoke bar.

Now this quirky red panda is heading to Netflix with an original anime series set to drop on April 20th, worldwide. There will be ten, 15-minute long episodes featuring copious amounts of adorable animal hijinks and wailing guitars.

Aggretsuko already boasts a cult following in Japan due to her intensely relatable back-story, as well as a burgeoning portfolio of licensed toys, apparel and merchandise.
