Shaun the Sheep will soon be touching in Australia through a new themed family attraction at Paradise Country on the Gold Coast.
The new addition arrives courtesy of a recently signed partnership between Aardman and Australia’s Village Roadshow Theme Parks in a deal secured by Merchantwise Licensing.
Paradise Country offer the Australian farm experience, giving domestic and international visitors the chance to experience farm life and outback adventure, while marking a “must-visit for Shaun the Sheep fans of all ages.”
Launching in December this year, the park will feature specially created sculptures and interactive attractions such as Shaun’s Tractor Ride, Shaun’s Adventure Camp, The Pig’s Playground and Shaun’s Scraps and Taps.
There will also be a live show Shaun’s Aussie Adventures, which will take place twice a day and a themed retail outlet.
Ngaio Harding-Hill, senior manager, attractions and live experiences at Aardman, said: “As Australia’s number one Farm based attraction, Paradise Country is the perfect home for Shaun the Sheep’s next attraction adventure.

Shaun the Sheep is an international brand with presence across 170 territories and almost six millions fans on Facebook and 2.3 billion views on YouTube.
In Australia, Shaun the Sheep and the pre-school series Timmy Time have been mainstays on ABC TV and iView digital platforms.
Next year will see the theatrical release of the Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon.
