Working alongside Moose Toys, Merchantwise has secured a roster of new partners for toys, collectables, food and drink and more.

Shopkins continues global growth with new Aussie partners

Shopkins continues to grow its burgeoning licensing portfolio with a roster of new licensees across Australia and New Zealand.

Australian licensing agent Merchantwise has secured a line-up of new partnerships for the girls’ brand, with new toys, collectables, apparel, accessories and more on the way.

Caprice Australia has been appointed the lead partner in soft lines with a range of girls’ apparel, accessories, bags and backpacks, footwear and bedding scheduled to roll out from this July.

New toys and collectables partners include Banter Toys with trading cards, CA Australia with plush and MJM Australia for puzzles, stationery and outdoor furniture.

Meanwhile, Hot Topics has been signed to develop a back to school range of lunchware and drinkware, while Park Avenue Foods is developing various food and confectionery lines.

Other partners include Hinkler for publishing and stationery and Next Media which will release a monthly Shopkins Magazine from September.

Completing the Australian line up of new partners, The Entertainment Store has been appointed to develop character appearances and live events, inspired by the Shopkins brand.

Alan Schauder, managing director of Merchantwise, said: “Shopkins is one of the hottest brands in the world. We are thrilled to be working alongside Moose Toys and many of Australia’s best licensees to expand the Shopkins universe at retail.

“This is just the start of a comprehensive consumer products programme that we expect to be a retail smash with girls in 2016.”
