Bulldog Licensing is continuing its takeover plans of the girls market with a swathe of new licensees for the popular brand, Shopkins.
In a roster of recent deals, Shopkins has secured new partners across accessories and homewares, as well as trading cards and clothing.
Sambro has signed with the popular collectables brand to produce a collection of bags and umbrellas, while Spearmark will develop lunchware, tableware, drinkware and lighting lines.
Meanwhile, Bulldog has partnered with Topps who will now produce a series of collectable cards, trading cards, sticker products and accessories, while VMC Accessories will launch headwear, scarves, gloves, sunglasses and phone cases and accessories.
The latest partners join a burgeoning portfolio of licensees that includes the likes of NJ Screenprints, Autumn Publishing, Character World, DJ Murphy, Winning Moves and Whitehouse Leisure.
“Shopkins is hotter than ever – the figures are selling in colossal numbers and branded merchandise is flying off the shelves,” said Bulldog Group’s MD, Rob Corney.
“This is the biggest new brand in the UK and is taking a huge share of the girls’ market with retailers keen to support a very wide range of product to supply the consumer demand.”
