Silvergate scoops two Daytime Emmy Awards for Peter Rabbit

International TV production and licensing firm Silvergate Media has scooped two Daytime Emmy Awards for its hit pre-school series Peter Rabbit.

The 3D computer generated TV series won accolades for both Outstanding Special Class Animated Program and Outstanding Individual Achievement n Animation award.

The series was also nominated for Outstanding Direction in an Animated Program.

Peter Rabbit was developed by Silvergate and Penguin Books and is inspired by Beatrix Potter’s classic character Peter Rabbit that made its return to the screen in 2013 in a new 3D animated series for Nickelodeon and the BBC.

Waheed Alli, CEO Silvergate Media, said: “We are very proud of the production. It is an amazing testament to Paula Rosenthal and the team for bringing back this timeless classic to a new audience.”
