Sitting Spiritually enjoys successful response to RHS Floating Bench

Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) licensee Sitting Spiritually, has enjoyed a successful response to its new RHS Floating Bench.

The Floating Bench plays an optical trick, as its design makes the backrest and arms appear to float.

After its official launch during the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2016, the bench has gone on to receive positive public and press reaction.

“Our role as an RHS licensee and our appearances at various RHS Flower Shows have enormously boosted public awareness of the RHS Floating Bench,” said Martin Young, founder of Sitting Spiritually.

“We’re pleased with the response, thrilled that Simon Thomas Pirie’s extraordinary skill has enjoyed deserved recognition on such a wide scale, and delighted to be working with a name that is synonymous with the best in gardening.”

During the RHS Chelsea flower Show the bench was nominated as a finalist in the Chelsea Product of the Year awards, and also attracted media attention both on TV and in print, including titles of The Observer, The Mail on Sunday, Woman & Home and more.

Cathy Snow, RHS licensing manager, added: “The breathtaking design of the RHS Floating Bench exceeded our expectations and was a resounding success at three RHS Flower Shows. We are sure it will now be equally popular in private gardens all over the UK.”
