Smiley inks deal with rebranded M.A.D.E food show

The Smiley Company is teaming up with GL Events, which will see France’s major private label food industry show MDD rebrand to M.A.D.E.

As part of the deal, the two companies have devised a design that features Smiley and the M.A.D.E logo, alongside a strapline that reads’ Make it happen, make it happy’.

“Trade shows are usually very exhausting and stressful moments for both exhibitors and attendees who have to work very hard to prepare and attend them,” said Nicolas Loufrani, CEO of Smiley.

“This is why for a decade we have been spreading happiness and fun with our badging hostesses at almost 100 trade shows and distributed close to one million badges.

“To now have the organisers of a major food show, ask us to work with Smiley on their own marketing activation is a great pride. It shows what we have been doing is right and that Smiley really brings value in a trade show environment.”

Promotional activation surrounding the event will boast floor tiles throughout the show, badging activation and branding activation on all event promotional materials including website, programs and advertising campaigns.
