Spacetoon’s MIA arrives on kids’ TV

Free-to-air kids’ channel Spacetoon is celebrating the arrival of the new children’s series, MIA.

The first co-production to be undertaken by Spacetoon, MIA is a new 3D CGI comedy series aimed at two to six year olds.

As the series readies to launch on TV screens across a number of territories, licensing demand is expected to be strong for the brand.

A MIA toy line has already been developed, unveiled at this year’s BLE and will be on show at a number of trade fairs including Toy Fair in London and the Hong Kong Toys and Games Fair in January 2016.

MIA follows the adventures of MIA a mouse, her grandmother Mimi and their friends, a spider, frog, turtle, bat and a rat.

MIA has a strong environmental message and eduacational underpinning. It is based on award-winning educational software translated into 17 languages and sold in 40 territories across the world.
