Spongebob and Patrick now available to 'make' in UK stores and online.

Spongebob Squarepants lands at Build-a-Bear

Build-a-Bear Workshop has joined forces with Nickelodeon to give customers the chance to make their own characters from Spongebob Squarepants in-store.

The deal marks the first time that the Nickelodeon favourites will be available at stores across the UK and online at buildabear.com.

Spongebob Squarepants and Patrick will retail at £18, both with costumes and accessories.

In addition, Spongebob PJ Pants and t-shirts are available for any of the other characters in-store to wear.

"For the first time ever, Build-a-Bear Workshop guests can finally take home the underwater find of Spongebob Squarepants and his friends," said Maxine Clark, founder of Build-a-Bear. "We are excited to be working with Nickelodeon to bring this iconic series and its loveable characters to life."

Manuel Torres, SVP of global toys and electronics at Nickelodeon Consumer Products, added: "The plush and accessories available will give fans of all ages a whole new way to experience the world of Bikini Bottom."
