Star Trek boldly goes into golf, office and souvenir products

CBS Consumer Products is expanding its Star Trek consumer products portfolio into new categories this year, including golf accessories and souvenirs.

For the first time ever, the popular sci-fi brand will enter the golf sector as Soft Stuff Creations prepares to launch its plush Star Trek golf club covers this April.

Meanwhile, Gary Gurmukh Sales will introduce a selection of souvenirs including apparel, headwear and giftware throughout Canada.

Furthermore, Icon Heroes will be bringing a new range of office accessories based on the franchise, while A Crowded Coop will launch a range of bags and accessories including cut and sew bags, messenger bags, backpacks, purses, coin purses and more, all available at retail in July.

Liz Kalodner, executive vice president and general manager of CBS Consumer Products, said: "The Star Trek brand continues to grow all across the globe.

"This expansion into categories we have never offered before is a testament to its popularity and heightened demand from fans."

Other Star Trek deals across the globe include: 21 Trends Private Limited for t-shirts in India, Mitch Dowd men’s outerwear, sleepwear and underwear for Australia, and Lady Sandra Home Fashions Inc cuddle wraps and cozy wearable blankets in Canada.
