Star Wars to have greater presence at Disney theme parks

Disney has stated that Star Wars will have a greater presence in Disney Parks and Resorts around the world moving forward.

Variety reports that the main attractions will be based on new sequels and spin-offs, including next year’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

“There will be a much larger ‘Star Wars’ presence in our parks globally,” Disney CEO Bob Iger revealed during a Q&A at Variety‘s Dealmakers Breakfast.

“But we want to do this big, which takes time, and to do it right.”

Elsewhere, Entertainment Weekly has revealed the names of some of The Force Awakens’ main characters in the form of mocked up Star Wars trading cards.
