Studio 100 International has appointed a new licensing manager in the Asian Pacific region.

Sunny Lee has joined the company where she will now be responsible for handling consumer products as well as co-ordinating the marketing plans for all key local brands.

Based in Sydney, Lee will report to Marie-Laurie Marchand, international licensing director and will have responsibility for Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia and Korea.

In her new role, Lee will work on brands such as Blinky Bill and Tasbi in Australia and New Zealand and will also be in charge of developing the scope of Maya the Bee, Vic the Viking and Heidi in the region.

Lee began working in the licensing industry when she managed key licenses such as Transformers III, The Simpsons and Disney in Korea with Cocaban Company.

She subsequently joined Joon International Entertainment Company where she worked with Studio 100’s Maya the Bee.

“Sunny has worked with the licensing team at Studio 100 as an external partner and we are now delighted that she has joined our team permanently,” said Marchand.

“Sunny has a wealth of experience in the Asian licensing industry and her double Korean Australian culture will certainly be a true asset to our team.

“We look forward to working together to generate additional awareness of the local brands throughout the Asian Pacific region.”
