Studio 100 teams up with Namco Bandai for Maya the Bee video game

Studio 100 has partnered with Namco Bandai Games on a new video game based on animation series Maya the Bee.

Let’s Play with Maya on Nintendo DS will land in game shops and hypermarket stores in France on December 2nd, targeting children aged four to six.

The game will enable children to ‘explore the wonderful world of Maya’ through fun and educational mini games.

“We are really excited about our new partnership with Namco Bandai Games and can’t wait to see the new Maya game on Nintendo DS hitting the shelves across France," said Christine Blériot, licensing and marketing director at Studio 100 France.

"It gives young fans of Maya the opportunity to interact with Maya at home while learning and having lots of the fun at the same time.”

Maya will be making her video game debut ahead of her move to the big screen in the Maya the Bee Movie, which launches worldwide in cinemas in 2014.
