Kids marketing platform SuperAwesome has entered into an exclusive partnership with Bin Weevils, the UK’s largest virtual worlds for kids.
The partnership will see Bin Weevils transfer the management of their advertising business exclusively to SuperAwesome.
As part of the transaction, SuperAwesome will also acquire Bin Weevils’ sales and ad operations teams.
Kids digital brands now on the SuperAwesome platform includes Bin Weevils, Swapit, Box of Awesome as well as over 70 content partners across mobile, web and online video.
“This is a major milestone for both companies," said Dylan Collins, SuperAwesome CEO.
"We’ve been huge fans of Bin Weevils since we started the company and being able to work together means we can create safe, entertaining experiences for brands at a scale and with a level of integration never possible before.
"They’re a huge part of the digital kids landscape and as part of our network, we can build even more imaginative campaigns for kids to interact safely with brands.”
Richard Watney, Bin Weevils CEO, added: “As a company, we’re focused on creating brilliant, engaging and safe gameplay for kids on mobile and web whereas SuperAwesome are the undisputed experts in the kids advertising space.
"This strategic partnership allows us to focus on our incredibly exciting mobile plans and for them to focus on engaging brand opportunities across our audience”
Bin Weevils will focus its resources and investment in the development of it’s browser-based world and the production of a new title, called Weevil World, set to arrive in the autumn.
Weevil World will be a ‘true cross-platform experience’ for kids with the initial launch in the App Store.
SuperAwesome now reaches over 30M kids each month and the company recently expanded into the US with the acquisition of MobiGirl.
