SuperZings and LOL Surprise magazine publisher shortlisted in PPA Independent Publisher Awards

DJ Murphy has been shortlisted for Independent Publishing Company of the Year at the annual PPA Independent Publisher Awards taking place next month.

Currently celebrating its 70th year in publishing, DJ Murphy boasts a portfolio of popular children’s titles, including toy-inspired licensed publications such as SuperZings and LOL Surprise.

Over the past few years, the children’s publisher has successfully secured new licenses and launched titles into both the boys and girls sub sector, while remaining focused on the needs of consumers, developed successful brand extensions to enhance audience engagement, and grown market share in a competitive market.

Commercial director, Katie Wilkinson, said: “We are absolutely thrilled that DJ Murphy has been recognised in this way. We are very proud of our heritage and remain committed to delivering high-quality brands and ensuring that we are constantly innovating, investing in staff and driving results. Our ability to adopt an agile approach to publishing has been key this year.”
