New deals for Calilou, Space Invaders, Johnny Test and Richard Scarry's Busytown.

Swathe of new licensees for DHX Media

DHX Media has signed a raft of new licensing deals for its popular kids’ and entertainment properties that include Calilou, Space Invaders and Johnny Test.

Calilou (pictured), the firm’s renowned pre-school property, has been picked up by licensee Les Chocolats Vadeboncoer in a multi-year deal for seasonal hollow and solid moulded chocolates.

Meanwhile, PlayWorld Mobile is currently producing a global app based on the children’s show.

Space Invaders will be featuring in a range of new merchandising with USAopoly producing a branded Jenga game and collectable jigsaw puzzles for North America.

TriForce will produce limited edition Space Invaders replicas for the US while StarBound Entertainment will feature the property on its line of parade balloons.

50 Fifty gifts will produce novelty gifts including alarm clocks and keychains which will be distributed globally by Diamond Comics Distributors.

Two new deals for kids’ brand Johnny Test will see Percy3D produce a line of party products based on the animation, while toy licensee Imports Dragon has renewed its deal with the property.

Finally, Richard Scarry’s Busytown has been taken up by Learning touch LLC for a series of educational apps to aid communication, hearing, language, literacy, life skills, mathematics and colour recognition.
