Starter teams with Pull&Bear for women’s SS22 capsule

Iconix Europe’s sportswear brand Starter has teamed up once again with Inditex’s youth fashion label, Pull&Bear, to launch a second collection, for spring/summer 2022.

The new womenswear collection has been created with the aim of combining streetwear with athleisure sportswear for a younger fashion-forward demographic. The colour story is comprised of a mix of Americana-inspired colours such as red, white and blue, offset against neutral beige.

Pieces include an oversized jersey hoodie with shorts co-ord, which incorporates both pile embroidered and printed logos, giving a nod to the initial collection. The collection also offers a variety of printed t-shirts, all of which include printed logos.

To complete the look, Pull&Bear has also developed a selection of varsity-look embroidered logo socks.

This collection is available now in the European/UK markets, both online at pullandbear.com and in a selected group of stores.

Adidas unites with Peloton for apparel capsule celebrating the digital fitness community

Adidas has unveiled its latest apparel capsule with ongoing international partner Peloton, designed to celebrate the global fitness community.

The collection has been made in part with recycled materials and is crafted with signature adidas performance technology that supports workouts across fitness disciplines, from cycling, to running, strength, yoga and more.

In a nod to the digital connection found through the Peloton fitness platform, the performance pieces take cues from Peloton graphics and icons, including dot textures with arrows evoking movement and progress.

Alongside the performance garments, the drop offers lifestyle apparel for pre- and post-workout activities, crafted with comfort in mind.

The activewear is available in inclusive sizing as well as offering a range of men’s, women’s, and all-gender pieces.

“As home fitness continues to grow, the importance of connectivity to a fitness coach and a fitness community is a must,” says Aimee Arana, General Manager, Global Training at adidas. “This was the inspiration for this new adidas x Peloton collection – featuring digitised graphics that celebrate the digital connection between the community and their favourite Peloton instructors. And just because the athletes are working out at home, the capsule still needs to deliver on style and making them look and feel great.

“With the key performance pieces, we have integrated signature adidas technology such as Heat.rdy, which keeps the athlete feeling cool and helps them stay in their zone on the bike or on the mat, so they can finish their workout strong.”

The adidas x Peloton capsule includes tanks, tights, shorts, tees, crewnecks, sports bras, jackets and joggers, available from US$35-$90. The collection can be shopped at adidas.com, apparel.onepeloton.com and select adidas stores throughout the US, Canada, the UK and Germany.

Starter marks its 50th anniversary with Pull&Bear collab

To mark sports brand Starter’s 50th anniversary, Iconix Europe LLC, the European arm of global brand management company Iconix Brand Group, has teamed up with Inditex’s youth fashion brand Pull&Bear to present the Starter x Pull&Bear Autumn/Winter 2021 capsule collection.

The range combines streetwear with athleisure sportswear and is aimed at a younger fashion-forward demographic. A prominent two-tone theme runs throughout the collection, showcased in a two-tone denim jacket, a patchwork shirt and an oversized cardigan finished with a logo patch.

The centrepiece of the offering is the Starter classic varsity jacket, which has been updated with multiple embroidered Starter 50th anniversary logo patches.

Other standout pieces include a tone-on-tone raincoat with an oversize fit, and faux shearling in the form of a pull-over with a pouch pocket and a second version with a zip fastening, which give a nod to the latest trends. The collection also offers sweatshirt and jogging trouser co-ords, all of which feature pile embroidered logos.

To complete the look, Pull&Bear has developed a comprehensive selection of accessories, including baseball caps, beanies and socks.

The collection will be available in Europe/UK markets, both online at pullandbear.com and in a selected group of stores.
