Beyblade Burst to debut at Anime Expo this weekend

Japanese IP Specialist ADK Emotions NY Inc. (ADK) has confirmed that Beyblade Burst will be making its debut at Anime Expo 2022, the world’s biggest anime convention, which takes place in Los Angeles from 1–4 July, 2022.

Visitors to the consumer-facing event, a celebration of Japanese pop culture, are invited to visit the Beyblade Burst panel, which will feature screens showing the latest Beyblade Burst animation and a quiz where participants can answer questions to win a prize. The brand’s interactive booth will feature a free play area for some casual Bey-play and a stamp rally game where participants can collect stamps by winning matches. Formal tournament battles will also run throughout the weekend where players can battle it out for the chance to win a Swag Bag complete with toys, pins, stickers, merchandise, and limited-edition t-shirts.

A spokesperson says: “ADK Emotions is excited to make an interactive space for creators and fans to come together and celebrate in person, bringing the tournament atmosphere to the largest Anime Expo in the world.”

Beyblade Burst Surge lands on Disney XD in Feb as Hasbro extends Speedstorm toy line

The fifth season of the hit anime series, Beyblade Burst Surge is landing on Disney XD next month, bringing with it a run of 26 episodes and an extended toy line from Hasbro that will tap directly into the core base of Beyblade fans.

The highly anticipated fifth season will debut with two new episodes starting at 8am ET/PT on Saturday, February 20th. Following the launch, new episodes will roll out Saturday mornings at 8:30am ET/PT with encore slots Sundays at 8:30am ET/PT and Weekdays at 3:00pm ET/PT.

Leading up to the premiere, Disney XD will air a Beyblade Burst Rise marathon beginning Friday, February 19 at 11:00pm ET/PT.

The new season will follow the adventures of a new cast of characters, along with some familiar faces fans loyal to the Beyblade Burst franchise will immediately recognize. A legend among legends, top Blader Valt Aoi hosts an exhibition match featuring a revolutionary class of Bey: “Lightning Beys”.

Inspired by the battle, two unknown brothers, Hyuga and Hikaru Hizashi, issue a challenge: armed with their own Lightning Beys Hyperion and Helios, this unlikely duo is going to topple Beyblade’s ruling elite.

Fans can also look forward to the full season of Beybalde Burst Rise being available on DisneyNOW throughout February.

Beyblade enthusiasts can already find the Season Five opening theme song, “We Got the Spin,” on the official Beyblade Burst YouTube Channel. This captivating, edgy track was written and performed by Konrad OldMoney and Seboria Peters, and is due for release on streaming platforms in early February.

Finally, long-time global master toy partner Hasbro will support the new season’s launch with the much-anticipated Beyblade Burst Speedstorm product line.

Fans will be able to launch into highspeed head-to-head battles with official Beyblade Burst Speedstorm tops that are designed to harness the power of the inescapable Power Vortex – an energy zone at the center of the Speedstorm Beystadium which has the ability to pull tops in and give them the ultimate speed boost.

Hasbro and ADK Emotions to host first digital Beyblade Burst Championship

The global entertainment company Hasbro has teamed up with ADK Emotions NY to launch the first fully-digital Beyblade Burst Championship, the 2020 Beymaster Invitational.

Together, both Hasbro and ADK Emotions will select top fans of the Beyblade franchise, including influential Bladers and digital influencers from the US and select global markets to go head-to-head in the livestream event. Viewers and fans can tune into watch the tournament on Saturday, October 17th on Hasbro’s official Facebook page.

The finals will take place the following week, Saturday, October 24, 2020, where the Beymaster Invitational Champ will be crowned.

A globe-spanning franchise that originated in Japan in 1999, Beyblade is now in its thrid generation, with four animated series to date in Beyblade Burst, Beyblade Burst Evolution, Beyblade Burst Turbo, and Beyblade Burst Rise. The livestream event will see 12 contenders from around the world compete in a four-round head-to-head championship, with eliminations taking place every round. The last Blader standing will take home the title of 2020 Beymaster Invitational Champion and a $10,000.

The classic Generation  One content is now available to watch on demand, laying the foundations of Beyblade’s 20th anniversary celebrations in 2021.

Focused on exploring the two-decades rich history of Beyblade, ADK Emotions NY is embarking on a nostalgic journey back to the origins of the global phenomena.
