BlackMilk Clothing to release tokidoki collection

BlackMilk Clothing has announced an all-new collaboration with iconic kawaii lifestyle brand tokidoki.

Fans of tokidoki’s fun characters and bold, cute style will be able to wear designs featuring their favourite characters from the brand’s universe – including Unicornos, Mermicornos, Cactus Friends, Moofia and more – on BlackMilk’s signature leggings, overalls, jackets and dresses.

The collection, entitled ‘Sometimes…’, will also introduce a new category for BlackMilk customers with the debut of the company’s very first backpacks, featuring favourite tokidoki prints.

A BlackMilk spokesperson said: “BlackMilk Clothing is well known for both its unique licensed collaborations and its fun, brightly coloured prints, so the playful nature of tokidoki is a perfect fit for the brand.”

The ‘Sometimes…’ collection features 17 quirky licensed tokidoki styles complemented by original BlackMilk prints and designer pieces, and can be viewed on the BlackMilk website. The collection will be available for purchase from 8 February.

 

BlackMilk goes sci-fi with latest Matrix-inspired pieces

BlackMilk clothing has officially entered the Matrix with seven new pieces inspired by the hit movie franchise, including its take on the iconic Neo Trench Coat.

The new pieces are dropping on January 10 at 1pm (PT) as part of BlackMilk’s larger ‘Beam Me Up’ collection, which includes futuristic designs inspired by all things sci-fi. BlackMilk Clothing debuts Squid Game apparel

Fans of Netflix’s hit series can showcase their Squid Game love with a capsule collection from BlackMilk, featuring instantly recognisable clothing and images from the show.

The 13-piece collection allows fans to cosplay their favourite Squid Game players with tracksuits inspired by those worn by characters on the show, featuring the numbers of fan favourites 001, 067, 218 and 456. A customisable tee also lets fans choose their own player number.

Other printed pieces feature icons and imagery from the show, including the Red Guards, the ‘Red Light Green Light’ doll and the iconic staircase that leads players to each game.

BlackMilk to release The Witcher capsule collection

Gamers will be able to celebrate their love for one of the most popular video games of all time with the release of a new collection inspired by CD PROJEKT RED’s The Witcher.

BlackMilk previously collaborated with CD PROJEKT RED on their Cyberpunk 2077 capsule collection, and have once again worked with the developers on a major collection celebrating the hit video game franchise set in the universe created by Andrzej Sapkowski in his series of books.

The collection features more than 35 printed and designer pieces drawing on the world of The Witcher and its most famous characters, including Geralt of Rivia, Yennefer of Vengerberg, Triss Merigold and the bard Dandelion.

The Witcher x BlackMilk collection will be available for purchase at 7am (AEST) 14 December, while the online lookbook can be viewed now on the BlackMilk website.

Fans of the hugely successful video game franchise will be able to show their love for The Legend of Zelda with an upcoming clothing collection from BlackMilk, inspired by six popular games in the series.

BlackMilk has previously collaborated with Nintendo on their Super Mario and Animal Crossing: New Horizons collections.

With more than 40 pieces in in the collection, BlackMilk’s latest range draws on six of The Legend of Zelda games: Breath of the Wild, Majora’s Mask, Ocarina of Time, Skyward Sword, The Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. Memorable scenes, items and characters from these games – along with famed hero Link and the wise Princess Zelda – feature on BlackMilk’s signature pieces, including leggings, dresses, overalls, active wear and unisex pieces. Two unique bomber jackets featuring artwork from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess are standout pieces, with easily recognisable patterns, motifs and large-scale back prints aimed at bringing the games to life.

The launch of the Night-City-inspired clothing range will take place in tandem with the game’s release on December 11th. The eight piece capsule collection features skin-hugging leggings, dresses and long sleeve crops sporting cyberware-inspired designs, as well as a feminine take on V’s signature Samurai Jacket.

BlackMilk partners with Nintendo to launch Super Mario and Animal Crossing: New Horizons collections

The globally loved Nintendo franchises, Super Mario and Animal Crossing: New Horizons are finding a new footing in the fashion world, thanks to a partnership between the video game maker and apparel specialist, Black Milk Clothing.

Renowned for its unique take on licensed collaborations, BlackMilk Clothing is offering gaming fans a new way to express their love for both Super Mario and Animal Crossing through the brand’s signature styles, including leggings, dresses, overalls, and more.

BlackMilk x Super Mario will be the first of the two collections to be released, going live at 7am on October, 6th 2020. The collection features some of the franchise’s favourite characters, including Princess Peach, Yoshi, Bowser and, of course, Mario. It will also feature the game’s iconic power-ups and numerous items. Active wear and unisex pieces are on offer alongside a variety of fun outerwear styles. 

Meanwhile, customers will then be treated to an entirely new collection when BlackMilk x Animal Crossing: New Horizons is released a week later, landing at 7am on October 13th, 2020.

Fans of the Nintendo Switch game will be able to shop a range of pieces featuring their favourite islanders and collectibles. Alongside BlackMilk’s signature bold printed styles, the collection includes designer pieces made with specially created fabrics, such as a unique flocked Timmy and Tommy design. 

BlackMilk is expecting both collection ‘to be hugely popular, with some limited edition pieces likely to sell out fast.’

BlackMilk to launch Birds of Prey range that takes inspiration from DC’s Harley Quinn and Black Canary

Comic book fans and fashionistas are being given the chance to dress like the cast of DC Comics’ villains outfit, Birds Of Prey, thanks to a new DC-inspired collection from BlackMilk Clothing.​

No stranger to dropping licensed collections in a flash, BlackMilk Clothing’s latest range aims to recreate the look of the group’s lead character, Harley Quinn, via its signature collection of overalls, dresses, and outerwear.

Fans of the film will be able to shop a range of pieces inspired by the latest iterations of Harley Quinn and Black Canary, not just designed for the Cosplay market, but the fashion conscious, too.

Meanwhile, for the more old school DC fans, the collection will also include a range of pieces featuring popular characters from different eras including Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman, The Joker and others.
