BANDAI NAMCO Europe announces new licensing partnerships

BANDAI NAMCO Europe has signed new licensing deals in EMEA for the global hit fighting-game series TEKKEN.

The new deals cover apparel (Difuzed, Fashion UK, EMP), partworks (Planeto de Agostini), figurines (Pure Arts, First4figures, Numskull) and vinyl records (Laced Records).

BANDAI NAMCO Europe serves as the Headquarters of BANDAI NAMCO Holdings Inc. for mainland Europe and ANZ, which is known for creating and publishing many of the toy and entertainment industries’ top franchises, including PAC-MAN, TAMAGOTCHI, GUNDAM, TEKKEN and DARK SOULS.

Video game publisher Bandai Namco Europe has closed a direct licensing agreement with EMP for the German-based company to provide exclusive merchandise for Bandai Namco’s Dark Souls, Tekken and Little Nightmares franchises. Categories include apparel, accessories, gifts and more.

In addition, Bandai Namco Europe is continuing to grow its Pac-Man licensing programme, partnering with Rhinoshield to launch a fun phone accessories collection.

Bandai Namco Europe is a leading global publisher and developer of entertainment content for platforms including, but not limited to, all major video game consoles and PC. Its franchises include Little Nightmares, Park Beyond, and the upcoming Unknown 9 Awakening,  developed by the recently acquired Reflector Entertainment, based in Montreal. Bandai Namco Europe serves as the HQ of Bandai Namco Holdings for mainland Europe and ANZ, which is known for producing many of the toy and entertainment industries’ top franchises, including Pac-Man, Tamagotchi and Gundam.

Phat Kandi taps Active Merchandising for German, Swiss, and Austrian market and secures EMP

Phat Kandi has tapped the German licensing agency, Active Merchandising to represent its brand across the German, Swiss, and Austrian territory, while also securing a new direct to retail partnership with the European brand, EMP.

Led by Anita van Esch, EMP has been signed on for Europe with a DTR for apparel and accessories, cross-branding Phat Kandi with its own label Black Blood by Gothicana, and introducing a collection of t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, leggings, skirts, dresses, shoes, mugs, bottles, towels, and more.

“We are thrilled to enter into this partnership with EMP,” said Anita van Esch, owner of Active Merchandising. “Phat Kandi perfectly matches the consumer profile of EMP and we are keen to develop a cool collection of trendy products.”

Active Merchandising currently represents brands such as Molang, Chefclub, The Gruffalo, and more.
