The 18-piece, size-inclusive collection gives women everywhere the opportunity to put on a 2022s version of a superhero cape and activewear and come together to “Break the Bias” on IWD and beyond. The WONDER WOMAN x Active Truth Collection launched globally on Tuesday 1 March, 2022.

Unique Vintage has produced an empowering collection of vintage-inspired pieces celebrating the Women of DC. Released in tandem with International Women’s Day, the line features strong colours and prints in timeless silhouettes. Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi is introducing a new DC Super Hero ‘Batgirl’ who will be making her first appearance at the theme park on International Women’s Day. Joining Batman’s crusade on March 8, Batgirl will be fighting crime with The Dark Knight in Gotham City, just in time for the highly anticipated ladies-only event, ‘Women of Warner’.

Finally, DC is debuting the first Wonder Woman crossover of its kind in decades, by the writers behind Wonder Woman, Nubia & the Amazons, and Wonder Girl and some of the best and brightest artists in the industry.

The long-awaited Wonder Woman event Trial of the Amazons kicks off with Trial of the Amazons Issue #1 from writers Becky Cloonan, Michael Conrad, Vita Ayala, Stephanie Williams, and Joëlle Jones writing and drawing, with artists Elena Casagrande, Laura Braga, and Skylar Partridge, with Nubia and the Amazons #6 to follow.

Participating comic shops will be celebrating the event with three promotional temporary tattoos, each representing a different Amazonian tribe. The first temporary tattoo, representing the Themyscirans, will arrive alongside Trial of the Amazons #1, the opening chapter of the explosive story. The second, representing the Bana-Mighdall, will arrive alongside Nubia & the Amazons #6, the second installment of the seven-part crossover. The third, representing the Esquecida, will arrive alongside Wonder Woman #785 on March 15, part three of Trial of the Amazons.

Warner Bros Games and DC announce Wonder Woman video game

Warner Bros Games and DC have announced a new third-person, open-world action-adventure video game featuring the iconic DC Super Hero, Wonder Woman.

In development by Monolith Productions, creators of the critically acclaimed Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and sequel Middle-earth: Shadow of War, the single player open-world action game will introduce an original story set in the DC Universe and allow players to become Diana of Themyscira in the fight to unite her Amazon family and the humans from the modern world.

Powered by the Nemesis System, gamers will forge deep connections with both enemies and allies as they progress from a heroic fighter into a proven leader.

“Wonder Woman is one of the most iconic DC Super Heroes of all time, standing for truth, justice and equality for over 80 years, and we’re proud to be creating an exciting new gaming chapter in this legendary character’s legacy,” says David Haddad, President, Warner Bros Games. “The talented team at Monolith Productions is building upon their strengths to bring players a Wonder Woman game that is unlike anything they have ever experienced.”

“At Monolith Productions, we believe in the power of player-driven storytelling to unite people,” comments David Hewitt, Vice President, Studio Head, Monolith Productions. “The stories our players share inspire us every day, and we are honoured to take players on a unique personal journey, driven by the values embodied in Wonder Woman.

“The Nemesis System raised the bar for player-driven storytelling and we’re excited to push the open-world genre forward, combining cutting-edge action with inventive narratives to create a Wonder Woman game everyone will want to play.”

Warner Bros Consumer Products and Myprotein flex new collab with limited edition Superman collection

Warner Bros. is once again flexing its consumer products muscles, this time through a renewed partnership with the popular fitness brand, Myprotein, to launch a limited edition Superman protein range.

Launched this week, the new whey protein and accessories collection follows a successful pairing between the Warner Bros Consumer Products and My Protein that first landed in 2020 when the fitness brand introduced its Justice League Hero Protein.

Fuelled by a demand for DC Comics inspired workouts, the brand reconnected at the tail of last year to introduce its Warrior Protein, a limited edition run themed around the Wonder Woman film, WW84.

Now, the two are at it again, this time bringing out a solo collection for Warner Bros’ own Man of Steel, Superman. The collaboration features the Myprotein Superman Clear Whey Protein in Acerola Cherry, available in 10 and 20 serving tubs, as well as a limited edition bundle that includes a Superman t-shirt along with a 20-serving protein tub and shaker.

“Last year, Myprotein and Warner Bros Consumer Products launched their official licensing agreement with the introduction of a special Justice League Hero Protein, followed by a Wonder Woman 84 range. The Superman limited edition is the latest installment of three super hero lines for Myprotein,” read a statement from the firm.

The company is expecting the range to be ‘a blockbuster’ among fans and is urging consumers to get their orders in fast, signalling the Superman range to be the final launch in its Warner Bros. collaboration.
